In the two months Jason and I have been in Michigan we have gotten to see and do some new fun things. Last weekend we drove down to Kentucky and visited our friends and went to the famous Kentucky Horse Races. We've checked out Detroit a few times and we've been looking forward to some warmer weather so we can try and check out some of the surrounding lakes. However, for the most part our nights consist of us sitting in front of the TV with a giant plate on Nachos. No matter what kind of food I buy we always seem to revert back to the classic nachos. It has officially become a food group for us. :) Anyways this Friday we decided to really get out and go D
O SOMETHING! We decided to venture over to the country of Canada for the night. Only to find out that Canada is pretty much just like Michigan. Except it has an awesome view of Detroit. We went to Ceasars Palace and got dinner at a Sports bar in the Hotel/Casino. Guess what we ordered... Nachos... and guess what we did... Watched TV... So we went all the way to another country to sit in front of the TV with an even larger than normal plate of Nachos. And we were even able to make it home and into bed by 11:30. Yeah... We're Awesome! :)

ReplyDeleteSo I was in San Diego this last weekend for one of Mike's cousin's graduations and it was held right next door to the hotel we stayed at when we went 10 years ago :) Can you believe it has been that long? It brought back great memories. Miss ya tonz, hope everything is going well for you guys!
ReplyDeleteI love it! It all sounds so fun. Mike and I also had a Nacho thing. We've tried it since kids and it just doesn't work the same. Kids don't understand the idea of sharing the best chips! Now . . . we have an ice cream after the kids go to bed thing.
